CAMBODIAN SHELTER

With the help of our friends at the Family Care Foundation, we have been put in touch with the Cambodian Center for the Protection of Children's Rights (CCPCR). A few years ago, they commenced construction work on a two-storey building that would accommodate, protect and educate underaged girls who had suffered from sexual exploitation and abuse. Unfortunately, funds ran out. At present, 30 girls are living on a very basic ground floor, sheltered by a tin roof.

Drop In The Ocean intends to change that.

This year we are also giving 50% of the money raised by the festival to the Lord Mayor's Earthquake Appeal. Drop in the Ocean has been sitting on the steering group that decided exactly where the money will go.
