We’re all for cultural exchange at Drop In The Ocean, and this year we’ve got a right treat for you – the good people at Nottingham Trent University are allowing us to have the run of their extremely top-drawer venues, opening them to the general public for the first time in over a decade. If you simply have to have it heavy, look no further than Sub (which used to be the old Trent Poly venue). The line-up is absolutely rammed with a selection of Nottingham’s most popular bands (Majik, Amusement Parks on Fire and The Hellset Orchestra), tacks on local faves such as Old Basford, Lo-Ego and Sanzen, and rounds off with Illuminatus and Spirytus.
