This too-good-for-just-students bar is gaining a solid rep for live music, and their collaboration with LeftLion – the font of Nottingham culture, with its newspaper and website – promises to be one of the highlights of Drop. The chaps at the ‘Lion have called in every single favour they’ve racked up through their many live sessions at the Tree and the Malt Cross, and have delivered a blistering cross-section of all-Notts music – from two of the city’s most beloved buskers to a rare acoustic performance by the lead singer of one to the top bands in Notts to a selection of the city’s hottest young bands.
