The Refugee Crisis in Greece ContinuesWhile many borders in Europe remain closed to those fleeing war and economic devastation, Greece, once a transit country, has now become a temporary residence for tens of thousands of refugees. As asylum seekers continue to make the journey across the Aegean Sea, conditions continue to deteriorate - as do the hopes for a future in Europe for many. Extreme overcrowding and a lack of protection and basic services has made living conditions inside many camps inhumane and unbearable.
