The Refugee Crisis in Greece Continues

While many borders in Europe remain closed to those fleeing war and economic devastation, Greece, once a transit country, has now become a temporary residence for tens of thousands of refugees.  As asylum seekers continue to make the journey across the Aegean Sea, conditions continue to deteriorate - as do the hopes for a future in Europe for many.  Extreme overcrowding and a lack of protection and basic services has made living conditions inside many camps inhumane and unbearable.
The need for aid is great.  Our work in and around the refugee camps has never been more important.
